The only problem is getting users that will actually stay active. But the only incentive for people to stay is if people are there, so it kind of shoots you in the foot.

I've created lots of forums, in fact I have one now which is doing really well. In the past I have a forum with over 10,000 posts and forums with several thousand posts, but nothing incredibly successful.

Yeah I am running a graphics forum currently. It's just starting up. I just got 100 posts too

I have created 5 forums, but I have gave them away now. I don't have the time to look after my own forum at the moment and promote it.

Yes I have created a forums. I got into forum about 3 years ago. After being a member of a forum for a year I made my first forum (2 years ago). The forum was mainly for me and my friends to hang out. After 7 month we stop using it because we found other ways to stay in touch (Facebook, Myspace, etc. ).

Even if we stop using I still want own forum but before I made new I start leaning about HTML and basic CSS. After months of try I got the basic and made my first publicly forum. The forum didn’t do well because I didn’t know about adverting it the right way. Later I found advertising forum and start adverting. After a month of non-stop adverting my forum was still “dead”. so I deleted it.

I found out mean reason people did join the forum because few people watch that show (I forget what show the forum was about it) so I decided to make a Anime forum. But before I made one I start leaning about hoe to adverts better, basic SEO, and how to have a better forum. When I opened the Anime forum things start going well but when my forum had to deleted because I didn’t have time for it. After I deleted the Anime forum I stop using forums and have a average teenager life until I came back to FP.
